By integrating both formal and non-formal education, the policy aims to close skills gaps, boost employability, and strengthen Nigeria's small business sector. With emphasis on internships, specialized training, and local industry collaboration, it positions youth to drive innovation, productivity, and job creation.
Stakeholders—including parents, community leaders, traditional rulers, and the private sector—are being mobilized to champion the policy's implementation across all states. The initiative is expected to enhance the talent pipeline for SMEs and contribute to broader economic growth.
