Governor Uba Sani appointed Prof. Salim Abdurrahman Lawal, a Professor of Animal Science, to lead the ministry. The move is expected to benefit smallholder farmers, meat processors, dairy producers, feed manufacturers, and other agro-allied SMEs by providing technical support, improving market access, and enhancing productivity.
