He spoke at the 2025 Justice Sector Leadership Retreat in Maiduguri. Zulum explained that digital tools like case tracking and virtual court sittings are already helping in Borno to speed up justice, reduce prison congestion, and expand access to legal aid. He said technology will make justice faster, transparent, and more accountable. Read also, The governor stressed that justice reform is not only vital for communities recovering from insurgency but also for creating a safer environment where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can thrive. According to him, tackling corruption, land disputes, and insecurity will give entrepreneurs and investors greater confidence to do business. Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), commended Zulum's reforms, describing Borno's e-Justice project as a model for resilience.
