The Federal Government has restated its commitment to equipping young Nigerians with entrepreneurial and employability skills through targeted initiatives.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Senator John Owan Enoh, made this known at the third edition of the National Sewing Championship in Abuja, organised by the Ladi Memorial Foundation in partnership with Destiny Messengers Ministry International.

Represented by a director, the minister said government would continue to support programmes that enable youths to showcase Nigeria's creativity while contributing to national development.
At the event, CEO of Destiny Messengers Ministry International, Dr. Pastor Israel Olajumoke, donated 54 brand-new sewing machines, citing his passion to help youths overcome poverty.
Executive Director of the Ladi Memorial Foundation, Rosemary Ojochelemi Oshikoya, explained that the boot camp was designed to impart functional skills and foster national unity. Vice Chairman, Engr. Kashim Ali, advised participants to take the training seriously and use it as a foundation for education or entrepreneurship.
