He made this call while delivering a keynote address at the GITEX Nigeria 2025 conference held in Abuja. Dr. Tijani emphasised that Africa must not only participate in the global AI revolution but also shape it on its own terms. According to him, achieving this requires collective action, adoption of clean energy-driven infrastructure, and expansion of meaningful connectivity across the continent.
