Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has reaffirmed Nigeria's commitment to strengthening cultural and creative collaborations with China.
Taking to her official X handle, Musawa shared highlights of her official visit to the People's Republic of China, where she met with the Honourable Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sun Yeli.
She explained that the meeting builds on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's recent state visit to China, which further deepened bilateral ties.

Discussions, according to her, centered on the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nigeria and China, with a focus on practical steps for effective implementation "moving from agreements on paper to concrete actions that will benefit our cultural, creative, and tourism sectors."
Musawa emphasized that the visit represents a renewed commitment to advancing Nigeria–China relations and unlocking opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth within the creative economy.
