Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu's commitment to diversifying Nigeria's economy, describing him as a leader with the political will to take bold decisions.
Shettima, in a post on his official X handle, highlighted the President's recent trip to Brazil, which resulted in the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding covering aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture. He described the agreements as deliberate and intentional steps towards repositioning Nigeria's economy.
The Vice President emphasized that President Tinubu's reforms are focused on creating new opportunities for growth and development, while also boosting confidence among global investors.

Shettima made these remarks on Thursday when he received a delegation from the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) led by its President, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He commended the NES for its role in shaping economic policies and assured that the Federal Government would continue to partner with relevant stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth for Nigerians.
