The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, has launched a free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme in partnership with the Ishk Tolaram Foundation. The initiative, themed "Get Skilled, Earn Money," is designed to equip young residents with practical, income-generating skills that promote employability and entrepreneurship.
The six-month scheme combines three months of intensive vocational training with a three-month paid internship, ensuring participants gain both technical expertise and industry experience. Targeting unemployed youths aged 18 to 35 with LASRRA IDs, the programme focuses on empowering Lagos residents to become self-reliant contributors to the state's growing MSME sector.
