The 9th Expanded National MSME Clinic was launched in Katsina today by Vice President Kashim Shettima, marking another milestone in Nigeria's drive to empower small businesses and strengthen local enterprise.
At the event, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved a N250,000 grant for each outstanding MSME exhibitor, reaffirming the Federal Government's commitment to boosting entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth nationwide.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda highlighted the state's achievements through the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA), including the creation of a N5.5 billion MSME Fund, a five-year strategic growth plan, training for over 1,500 youths, and the establishment of sector-based common facility centres.

The state also announced a six-month mentorship and business tracking programme for clinic participants to ensure sustainability, financial access, and continued growth support.
With these initiatives, Katsina is positioning itself as Northern Nigeria's emerging MSME hub driving innovation, self-reliance, and job creation through the "Building Your Future" agenda.
