Director-General Kashifu Inuwa announced this during a courtesy visit to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Abuja. He explained that the initiative will not only promote transparency and accountability but also open new digital channels for local businesses to thrive. "Creating websites for LGAs will connect communities, boost citizen engagement, and enhance visibility for small enterprises operating at the grassroots," Inuwa said. Read also: He added that NITDA is also introducing a new licensing regime after reviewing its IT clearance guidelines, aimed at standardising and improving government technology projects. Since 2017, the agency has cleared over 1,280 IT projects worth more than ₦3.4 trillion across 326 public institutions an effort Inuwa said reflects Nigeria's steady push toward smarter governance and a more inclusive digital economy. | | | |
