Five outstanding women-led businesses have been unveiled as finalists for the N20 million Unicorn Project — an initiative by SoMe Solutions in partnership with Premier Business Network (PBN) to empower female entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The finalists are Nancy Amaku of Chef Nahnah Foods & Confectioneries Ltd, Aderoju Dasola Elizabeth of Eliz-Bags & Accessories, Opeyemi Adebisi of Pemnia Wellness, Kieva Chris-Amusan of Fertitude, and Abejide Oluwatosin Mercy of House of Rheevo Limited.
Selected from over 120 applicants nationwide, the entrepreneurs were first shortlisted into the Unicorn Community — a support platform offering mentorship, networking, and business development guidance.

According to SoMe Solutions founder, Elizabeth Osho, the initiative celebrates the creativity and resilience of Nigerian women in business. "The Unicorn Project isn't just about funding; it's about turning potential into lasting impact," she said.
The finalists will now enter a public engagement phase involving storytelling, online voting, and evaluation by industry experts including Ifedayo Durosinmi-Etti, Morenike Molehin, and Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade.
The winner will receive a ₦500,000 cash prize and ₦20 million worth of brand and PR support to scale their enterprise. The announcement is expected later this year.
