In under two years, more than 500 community-owned SMEs have emerged under OKOBI, engaging 20,000 associates and creating sustainable jobs. Approved by Governor Hope Uzodimma, the initiative targets poverty reduction and local economic growth across 630 autonomous communities. It encourages collective business ownership, using local talent and shared resources to build community-driven enterprises.
