The gains reflect growing momentum within local SME farming communities working to rebuild livelihoods. Supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Office, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the FAO has implemented an integrated support system for smallholder farmers. The programme provides quality seeds, essential inputs, and hands-on technical training. Many communities are now experiencing higher yields, improved soil management, and more stable production cycles.
