With the industry recognised as a major driver of innovation and job creation, the initiative aims to expand opportunities for young people in emerging technologies that support local content development. The National Automobile Design and Development Council is partnering with the Office of the Special Assistant on Youth Initiatives to host a conference focused on building stronger pathways for MSMEs in the automotive value chain. The event will bring together innovators, policymakers, and industry players to discuss strategies that can expand entrepreneurship and technology adoption. They noted that the sector remains central to economic diversification as well as Nigeria's push for locally made solutions that support long term growth.
