Speaking during a service in Eket, the governor said the recent statewide ward meetings were aimed at deepening engagement with communities and ensuring citizens feel the impact of government. He commended local government chairmen for coordinating the exercise effectively. He urged beneficiaries of government programmes to extend support to people in their villages, noting that another round of grassroots meetings will hold in December to strengthen participation.
