The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), in collaboration with Youth Agribusiness (YAS), has empowered young farmers across various LGAs with farm inputs valued in millions of naira.
Beneficiaries received vital tools including solar irrigation kits, improved cassava and maize varieties, garri fryers, defeathering machines, fertilisers, and more—all aimed at strengthening their agribusiness ventures.
During the distribution at IITA's Agricserve building in Ibadan, Osin Idowu, CEO of IITA Youth Agripreneurs, urged recipients to fully utilise the support. "This is not all you need to succeed, but it's a start. Your results will shape future support for others," he said.
