The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has praised the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for his 2025 mega empowerment and economic support programme, describing it as a lifeline for farmers and small business owners across Oyo State.
In a statement signed by its Oyo State Chairman, Engr. Olumide Ayinla, AFAN noted that all beneficiaries, particularly farmers, have received their financial support through the Bayo Adelabu Foundation (BAF), adding that the Minister's consistency in empowering grassroots communities reflects genuine leadership.
Ayinla commended Adelabu's continued investment in agriculture and rural enterprise development, citing recent donations of truckloads of fertiliser to boost farm productivity and reduce operational costs for smallholder farmers.

He said the latest empowerment initiative represents "a continuation of sincere, impactful assistance — not politics, not propaganda, but direct intervention that touches lives and strengthens the agricultural value chain."
"Chief Adelabu has consistently demonstrated that he understands the heartbeat of the grassroots," Ayinla added. "Through the Bayo Adelabu Foundation, he is rewriting the story of sustainable empowerment in Oyo State."
He further prayed for Adelabu's success in his political and public service journey, noting that leaders who uplift others deserve to advance. "We pray God continues to strengthen him to do more for humanity, the farming community, and the economic future of Oyo State," he said.
