NEYMAR SENT OFF AFTER BRAZIL’S DEFEAT TO COLOMBIA FOR BUST-UP WITH MURILLO & BACCA Neymar has been sent off after the final whistle in Brazil’s 1-0 Copa America defeat to Colombia following an altercation with Jeison Murillo and Carlos Bacca. After the full-time whistle, Neymar kicked the ball at Colombia’s Pablo Armero and was subsequently confronted by Murillo, who scored the first-half winner for Colombia. Neymar thrusted his head towards Murillo, but was then pushed violently in the back by Bacca as players from both teams gathered to break up the argument. The referee consequently opted to show the Barcelona man a red card, while Bacca received the same punishment for his role in the incident. Brazil will thus have to make do without the services of their skipper in their final Group C encounter versus Venezuela due to suspension.
