The Yobe State Government has been invited to participate in the upcoming international trade fair in Meknes, Morocco, by the Association of Regions (Governor's Forum) in Morocco.
Alhaji Mamman Mohammed, Director-General for Press and Media Affairs to Gov. Mai Mala Buni, confirmed the development, stating that the association's Executive Director, Mohammed El Bachiri, expressed readiness to collaborate with Yobe in attracting investors.
According to Baba Malam-Wali, Secretary to the State Government, Yobe will present its top agricultural produce, including sesame seeds, Gum Arabic, beans, groundnuts, and livestock.
"The governor has directed officials to partner with reputable organizations to create employment and wealth opportunities, especially in agriculture," Malam-Wali said.

Similarly, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ibrahim Adamu-Jajere, confirmed that all 17 local councils are set to participate, showcasing their products to attract investors.
Ahmed Gombe, CEO of African Network Center, assured that all documentation for Yobe's participation in the trade fair would be completed.
