In a bid to enhance transparency and sustainability in palm oil production, Solidaridad West Africa has inaugurated the Akwa Ibom State Palm Oil Traceability Inter-ministerial Committee.
The inauguration followed a crucial stakeholders' meeting in Uyo under the National Initiatives for Sustainable and Climate-Smart Oil Palm Smallholders.
The committee will oversee the development of a traceability framework to boost the state's global competitiveness in the palm oil sector.
