The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu's dedication to empowering Nigerian farmers, emphasizing that the administration is creating an environment for increased agricultural productivity and food security.
Speaking at the launch of the 2025 dry season farming and Ramadan palliative distribution in Kebbi, Kyari highlighted the president's unwavering support in boosting food production.
He noted that ongoing initiatives are already yielding positive results, ensuring Nigerians have access to nutritious food.
Kyari also praised Governor Nasir Idris for prioritizing agriculture, which has led to increased harvests and reduced food prices.

Governor Idris, in his remarks, acknowledged the challenges farmers face and announced the distribution of essential farming inputs, including water pumps, sprayers, power tillers, and fertilizers, to support their efforts.
