Jamaican entrepreneurs must embrace digital adoption to remain competitive, Minister Hill emphasized, highlighting the inclusion of agencies like the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) to support this transformation.
Marlene Lamonth, Programme Manager for the EU Delegation to Jamaica and other territories, reaffirmed the EU's commitment to economic resilience and innovation. She noted that MSMEs drive 80% of Jamaica's employment, making them the backbone of the economy.
"In today's digital era, MSMEs must leverage technology to optimize, innovate, and expand beyond Jamaica's borders," Lamonth stated.
