The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Railway, a $11.17 billion infrastructure project, is set to reshape Nigeria's transportation sector, linking Lagos to Calabar through key coastal cities like Port Harcourt, Uyo, and Warri.
Spanning 1,400 kilometers, the standard-gauge railway will enhance trade, ease road congestion, and improve logistics efficiency.
Designed to connect major seaports and economic hubs, the railway will facilitate the movement of goods, including oil, agricultural products, and minerals, bolstering industrial growth and attracting investments. The integration of 22 strategically located stations will further enhance regional accessibility.
