Your pitch was fire. You even dropped the “Looking forward to your feedback” line. And then… Thanks for reading MSME Africa Pulse! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Pledge your support You waited. And waited. You even considered sending a reminder… but then your mind started misbehaving: "I don't want to disturb them." "Maybe they’re not interested." "If they really want it, they'll reply." Ah. See yourself? Let’s be honest - many entrepreneurs are ghosting their own growth just because they’re afraid to follow up. But hear this: Follow-up is not a crime. It's a strategy. 💡 Think of it Like This: That client is busy, not wicked. Your email is buried under 147 others. Their “I’ll get back to you” isn’t always final. Life happens. Your follow-up is the polite nudge that brings you back to the top of their mind—and sometimes, that’s all it takes to close the deal. 🚀 Follow-Up Hacks to Keep You Winning: Give Space, Not Silence Wait a few days (2-5, depending on urgency), then follow up with context: “Just checking in on the proposal I sent on Monday. Happy to clarify any details or adjust based on your needs.” Add Value, Not Vexation Don’t just say “following up.” Share a tip, update, or insight that shows you’re still invested in helping them win. Use Multiple Channels They didn’t answer the email? Try LinkedIn. Or WhatsApp (if it’s appropriate). Or a quick call. No stalking o—just professional persistence. Automate It (If You Can) Tools like HubSpot, Streak, or Zoho CRM let you track follow-ups and set reminders. Because forgetting is not the strategy. 👏 And Finally… That big client you’re waiting on? That partnership deal? That influencer collab? They might just be one follow-up away. So no dulling. Don’t ghost your goals. Follow up. Close deals. Repeat. You’ve got this. 💼🔥 Here’s what I have for you today: Trending Business News Opportunities Galore Fun Facts about Entrepreneurship Some Resources for you Trending Business News NLNG, BOI Unveil N1 Billion MSME Scheme to Boost Local Businesses and Drive Sustainable Growth The Nigeria LNG Limited you (NLNG) has launched an expanded Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Scheme to support local businesses and vendors across its host communities and gas transmission system areas.
