The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has expressed support for Nigeria's Single Window Project, aimed at simplifying trade processes, increasing government revenue, and improving ease of doing business.
During a meeting with the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, an IMF delegation led by Marco Antonio, Technical Assistance Advisor for Revenue Administration 2, praised the initiative and discussed ways to enhance its implementation.

Edun assured that the project is progressing with approvals secured, a dedicated team in place, and a structured implementation plan. He highlighted its potential to drive export growth, especially as Nigeria moves toward producing 1.2 million barrels of oil per day.
Describing the initiative as a transformative economic tool, Edun reaffirmed the government's commitment to its success, crediting the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and the support of the Nigeria Customs Service as instrumental to its execution.
