Signed by President Tinubu, the move comes ahead of the 16th AfCFTA Council of Ministers Meeting in Kinshasa and signals a major leap in Nigeria's export agenda. With 90% of goods now qualifying for zero duties, SMEs and manufacturers can tap into new markets, boost regional exports, and attract fresh investment. Industry Minister Dr. Jumoke Oduwole called it a "transformative leap" for Nigerian trade, positioning the country as a continental trade leader.
