The programme featured a one-day intensive training session focused on Access to Finance and Business Growth Strategies for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Grants ranging from ₦500,000 to ₦2 million were awarded to the beneficiaries following the training.
"This effort is part of our broader agenda to strengthen entrepreneurship, support small businesses, and build a more resilient and prosperous economy across the state," Idris said.

The Commissioner expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his continued support in fostering an environment where businesses can thrive. He also urged beneficiaries to utilize the grants responsibly, grow their enterprises, create employment, and contribute meaningfully to the state's economy.
Idris was joined at the empowerment event by fellow state executives, Hon. Wemi Jones (Education Commissioner) and Hon. Muhammed Muktar Shuaibu (Commerce Commissioner), reflecting a united front in Kogi State's push for inclusive economic empowerment.
"Together, we are building a Kogi where no one is left behind," he concluded.
