The Lagos State Government is exploring a strategic collaboration with Siemens Group to advance waste-to-energy solutions, opening new opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the green and clean tech sectors.
At a high-level meeting in Alausa, the Commissioners for Environment & Water Resources, and Energy & Mineral Resources emphasized Lagos' daily generation of 13,000–14,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste. With existing partnerships already converting thousands of tonnes into industrial energy, Lagos is expanding its commitment to sustainable energy.
