Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned a series of development projects in Agboyi-Ketu and Bariga Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening the local economy. The announcement was made via his official X handle.
In Agboyi-Ketu, the governor unveiled key facilities including the Otunba Bushura Alebiosu Multipurpose Building, a new primary school, an ICT Hub, the Oba Taiwo Adesegun Lamina Sports Centre, and four newly completed roads. These assets are expected to improve access to education, digital skills, sports development, and transportation within the community.
Over in Bariga, 21 roads, three primary schools, five primary health centres, a fire station, and a legislative chamber were also officially commissioned. These community-focused projects are seen as critical investments in the well-being and productivity of local residents.

"These projects are investments in our people and the future of our communities," Sanwo-Olu stated, commending the leadership of Hon. Dele Osinowo and Hon. Kolade Alabi for delivering on their promises.
For small businesses and entrepreneurs in both LCDAs, the improved infrastructure is expected to enhance market access, mobility, service delivery, and safety—laying a solid foundation for economic activity and community development.
Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed the state government's commitment to supporting all 57 local councils, emphasizing that autonomy must come with accountability. He also called on residents to protect and maintain the newly commissioned facilities to ensure their long-term impact.
