Air Peace has unveiled its 2025/2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, which will provide 1,000 jobs for young Nigerians, in what the airline described as a direct response to the Federal Government's suspension of the 4% Free on Board (FOB) levy on imports.
Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, said the government's move saved millions of jobs and eased the burden on businesses, especially SMEs. He noted that the airline's initiative reflects how private sector players can complement government reforms to boost employment and enterprise growth.
The Graduate Trainee Programme is aimed at equipping graduates with skills, mentorship, and exposure to thrive in aviation and related industries. Onyema assured that with continued government support, the aviation sector could generate thousands more jobs and open new markets for SMEs within its supply chain.
