Each participant received N500,000 after completing six months of hands-on training in poultry, arable crop production, and fisheries—three key sectors identified to drive Nigeria's food security agenda. O-ORBDA's Managing Director, Dr. Adedeji Ashiru, said the support goes beyond funding, describing it as an investment in sustainable agribusiness. Since 2016, the scheme has trained and supported 208 young Nigerians, providing them with skills and capital to run viable agro-enterprises.
