Governor Douye Diri finalized the agreement during his visit to Beijing, accompanied by the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Moses Teibowei. The partnership aims to attract new investments from China while positioning Bayelsa as an emerging hub for industrial development and SME growth. Read also, CCECC, which has been active in the state since 2012, is currently constructing the 630-meter Angiama Bridge — the longest stand-alone bridge ever handled by the firm in Nigeria. The project is set for commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in February 2026.
