The Federal Government has launched the second phase of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP 2.0) to create at least 20,000 jobs yearly for young graduates across the country.
Vice President Kashim Shettima will officially flag off the initiative on October 22, 2025, in Abuja. The event will also feature a High-Level Policy Dialogue on Job Creation with the theme, "From Skills to Jobs and Enterprises: Driving Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship in Key Economic Sectors."
Ahead of the launch, the Vice President inaugurated the Project Steering Committee of NJFP 2.0 and urged members to ensure inclusiveness and nationwide reach of the programme.

The Jubilee Fellows Programme, coordinated by the Office of the Vice President and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with support from the European Union (EU), connects high-potential graduates with real-world work experience, training, and mentorship.
Since its inception in 2022, the initiative has empowered over 14,000 young Nigerians through 12-month paid fellowships, equipping them with practical skills and enhancing their employability.
The new phase will deepen youth participation in key economic sectors while supporting entrepreneurship and job creation in line with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
