Governor Umaru Bago has announced a N20 million intervention fund to support small businesses and households affected by the recent flood in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
The initiative aims to restore livelihoods and help micro and small enterprises recover from the impact of the disaster, which disrupted trade and daily income activities across several communities.
Governor Bago reaffirmed his administration's commitment to inclusive economic recovery, stating that the funds will be used judiciously to rebuild affected areas, empower local entrepreneurs, and strengthen community resilience against future environmental challenges.
