The Bank of Industry (BOI) has urged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Anambra to take advantage of the N75 billion loan provided by the Federal Government to boost their businesses.
BOI's state manager, Mr. Chibuzor Orji, made the call in Awka during the inauguration of MSME development clusters across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The initiative, in partnership with the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), aims to equip business owners with financial support and essential skills.
"NASME members in the state can access up to N5 million based on their business plan and size," Orji explained while guiding attendees on the loan application process.
State NASME Chairman, Mr. Chinemerem Oguegbe, emphasized that the development clusters would provide rural entrepreneurs with information and funding opportunities to scale their businesses.

Meanwhile, NASME member and CEO of Uwamaenyi Technical Works Limited, Mr. Okorie Kalu, assured that business owners would meet the necessary requirements to access the loan, pledging its effective utilization.
The N75 billion BOI loan, available across all states, is part of the federal government's efforts to strengthen Nigeria's MSME sector and drive economic growth.
