Themed "Journey to Energy for All," the summit aims to foster high-level discussions among key stakeholders, develop actionable strategies, and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy. The event is scheduled to take place from April 15th to 18th at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

Ogunleye noted that Lagos has long recognized the need for a transformative energy sector to support its vision of a 24-hour economy.
He highlighted past efforts, such as the Enron IPP project initiated under former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, now Nigeria's President, who also signed the Electricity Act 2023 empowering states to regulate their electricity markets.
The summit will bring together a diverse mix of participants, including energy professionals, government officials, private investors, research institutions, environmental advocacy groups, international organizations, and local communities.
Financial institutions and technology providers are also expected to play a key role in scaling sustainable energy solutions.
With this landmark summit, Lagos is setting the stage for a cleaner, more efficient, and self-sustaining energy future.
