Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited has announced a strategic partnership with the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to uplift women and families through empowerment initiatives.
The collaboration was revealed on Tuesday when a 13-member delegation from the Ogun State chapter of POWA, led by Chairperson Rev. Mrs. Olubusola Ogunlowo, visited Pelican Valley Estate in Laderin, Abeokuta.
Welcoming the delegation, Pelican Valley's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, praised POWA's dedication to enhancing the welfare of police officers' families.
He commended the association's President, Deaconess Elizabeth Egbetokun, wife of the Inspector-General of Police, for her unwavering support of widows and orphans in the police community.
We are honored to host such an inspiring group of women who are making a tangible impact in their communities," Adeyemo said. "Your dedication to supporting police families is commendable, and we are eager to collaborate for greater social good.
Adeyemo, a former journalist who once covered POWA's activities, lauded Rev. Ogunlowo for her forward-thinking leadership and commitment to forming strategic alliances.
He reaffirmed Pelican Valley's dedication to social responsibility, emphasizing that the company, built on integrity and quality service, will continue its humanitarian efforts.
Through its Oko Opo Foundation, Pelican Valley has been actively supporting widows, children, and underprivileged individuals.
The firm has previously contributed to the Nigeria Police by donating school bags and relief materials to the Police Children's School in Eleweran, Abeokuta, and providing infrastructural support to the Ogun State Police Command.
