The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, has urged Nigerian researchers and institutions to embrace ethical conduct, collaboration, and strategic planning to drive impactful scientific innovation.
Speaking at the EXCEL-RITE conference in Abuja, themed "Exploring Excellence in Ethical Conduct, Leadership for Research Integrity Through Empowerment," Adeyeye emphasized that research success hinges on honesty, cross-sector partnerships, and clear research goals.
She identified poor funding, fragmented systems, and lack of interdisciplinary cooperation as key challenges slowing Nigeria's research development.
