The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) has unveiled the Renewed Hope Women and Youth Empowerment Programme in Oba-Oke, Olorunda LGA of Osun State, targeting poultry farmers with vital resources.
Each beneficiary received two poultry cages, twenty three-week-old birds, and four bags of premium feed under the scheme. In three to four weeks, designated off-takers will purchase the mature birds, generating immediate income for participants.

Cornelius Adebayo, NALDA's Executive Secretary, said the initiative, inspired by President Bola Tinubu's vision, is crafted to strategically build Nigeria's middle economic class. He described the project as a revolving poultry production model aimed at creating sustainable income and expanding local wealth.
Profits from bird sales will be shared among NALDA, the farmers, and the community, establishing a cycle of reinvestment and wider participation.
Adebayo reaffirmed NALDA's broader commitment to agricultural development, spanning land preparation, marketing, storage, and partnerships nationwide.
He urged beneficiaries to adhere to the programme's guidelines to ensure its success and promised steady expansion across Osun State and beyond.
