This initiative provides access to sewing machines and uninterrupted power supply, easing the burden of equipment and electricity costs. Noting how tailors from Northern Nigeria are already making the most of the space, she pledged to sponsor 10 Abuja-based tailors, 5 from Instagram and 5 from X (Twitter) to use the facility free for 30 days. She urged only serious participants to apply, adding that SMEDAN also has similar opportunities for carpentry and recycling enthusiasts.
