Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Tanko Sununu, said ₦419 billion has already been disbursed to five million Nigerians under the rapid conditional cash transfer programme, with 71% of the funds directed to the North and 21% to the South. Beneficiaries are drawn from the National Social Register through the National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office (NASSCO).
