The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has urged the Kaduna State Government to collaborate in creating job opportunities by integrating young people into Nigeria's growing non-oil export sector.
Speaking at a Youth Export Development Programme themed "From Passion to Port: Unlocking Youth Export Potential" in Kaduna, NEPC Executive Director Nonye Ayeni—represented by State Coordinator Kajuru Y. Sadoh—said the initiative aims to transform youth-led businesses into global competitors.
She noted Kaduna's advantage as an industrial hub producing export-ready goods such as ginger, maize, tomatoes, soybeans, and cotton, adding that NEPC will provide capacity building, mentorship, and trade facilitation to help young entrepreneurs meet international standards.
