For Plateau State, the trip holds major significance as it was recently named one of six Nigerian states to host a regional hub of the $1.1 billion Green Imperative Project under the Nigeria-Brazil partnership. The project is expected to accelerate agro-industrialisation, modern farming, and food processing, opening up new opportunities for SMEs in agribusiness, equipment supply, logistics, and value-chain services.
Governor Mutfwang's participation is aimed at ensuring Plateau leverages these partnerships to boost local enterprise, create jobs, and position small businesses as central players in the state's agro-industrial growth.
