Speaking at a capacity-building training themed "The Role of NAFDAC in AfCFTA Implementation," Director-General Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye said the Agency is enhancing its regulatory systems to ensure safe trade and protect public health as cross-border commerce expands. Read also, She noted that as more Nigerian products enter African markets, NAFDAC is working to streamline export certification, strengthen inspection capacity, and collaborate with other regulators across the continent to harmonise standards and share intelligence on unsafe goods. Prof. Adeyeye reaffirmed that with NAFDAC's WHO Maturity Level 3 status, the agency is well positioned to support manufacturers, safeguard consumers, and drive Nigeria's competitiveness under AfCFTA. | | | |
