The Getting Girls' Equal (GGE) Program has entered a new phase as partners reaffirm their commitment to expanding access to quality education for girls in Oyo State. The renewed collaboration with Malala Fund strengthens ongoing efforts to improve learning outcomes and dismantle barriers that limit girls' participation in school.
Over the past three years, the GGE initiative has supported more than 10,000 schoolgirls across 30 schools, creating safer and more inclusive learning environments. By embedding gender-responsive pedagogy into teaching and leadership practices, the programme has empowered educators to challenge bias and promote equitable learning.

Stakeholder engagement and community-driven action have further boosted school-level structures that support girls' education. Beneficiaries have recorded stronger learning outcomes, greater confidence, and smoother transitions into higher levels of education—clear evidence of the programme's transformative impact.
With renewed support, partners say they are doubling down on inclusion, transparency, and accountability. The next phase will scale interventions to ensure more girls access the education, protection, and opportunities they deserve. The journey continues with even greater resolve.
