Most major works including drainage channels, culverts, earthworks, and road base layers have been completed, while asphalt laying is at an advanced stage with only a few sections left. The state government described the project as a key infrastructure upgrade designed to ease mobility in Ijebu-Ode, support SME operations, and boost socio-economic activity across Ogun East.
