The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in partnership with Intelligent Innovations has launched the Happy Woman Platform, a national digital ecosystem designed to empower 10 million Nigerian women. The platform provides access to financing, skills development, mentorship, and digital tools to support economic independence and business growth.
Unveiled in Lagos, the initiative aims to bridge opportunity gaps for women across the country. It connects micro-entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives to resources that help achieve financial freedom and sustainable growth through tailored programs and support.

The platform offers integrated opportunities including access to loans, grants, low-interest financing, business tools, capacity building, mentorship, and health and wellness support. Key initiatives include financial literacy training, entrepreneurship programs, and competitions to fund innovative women-led ventures.
Officials highlighted the platform as a milestone for women's economic inclusion in Nigeria. The Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, said it marks a new dawn for Nigerian women. Organisers project that the initiative will create jobs, boost entrepreneurship, and contribute significantly to Nigeria's GDP.
