The Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, represented by the Director of IT Infrastructure Solutions, Oladejo Olawunmi, welcomed two European firms—Consulting & Management (C&M) and EUROPE Ltd—tasked with enhancing Nigeria's broadband infrastructure and boosting digital literacy.
Awarded an EU-funded contract, the firms will assist the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) in implementing the National Digital Literacy Framework.
Led by Judit Erdos, the delegation reviewed progress and updated data from a previous World Bank study.
With Nigeria aiming for 70% digital literacy by 2027, discussions addressed challenges, achievements, and policy recommendations crucial for shaping the nation's digital future.
