The Benue State government has unveiled a N1.7 trillion development plan (2026–2034) aimed at driving economic growth and infrastructure development.
With 96% of funding expected from internally generated revenue and FAAC allocations, the initiative prioritizes job creation, social protection, and food security.
During the launch in Makurdi, the government introduced additional policies, including a 5-Year Social Protection Policy and a Food and Nutrition Policy, both designed to enhance economic stability.
