The initiative, known as CAP2E, will train 6,000 youth in technical and vocational fields, create over 5,000 jobs 40% reserved for women and provide support to more than 500 SMEs. Read also: It also includes the construction or rehabilitation of 22 training centres and 29 social facilities, alongside projects in renewable energy, health, and education to boost resilience and opportunities. Cameroon's Economy Minister, Alamine Ousmane Mey, said the programme would reduce inequalities and promote shared prosperity, while AfDB's Central Africa Director General, Léandre Bassolé, described it as a "catalyst for transformation" that strengthens entrepreneurship and human capital development. | | | |
